2015 Honda Dio launched – IAB Report [Gallery updated]

For 2015, the Honda Dio gets visual updates in the form of new dual tone colour options. Honda’s youth oriented scooter would now be available in Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red, Candy Palm Green and Black body colours.

The 2015 Honda Dio is also getting a new graphics treatment with fresh stickers and side-panel graphics, that augers well with its youthful character.

The youth-oriented scooter is updated with new body graphics and dual tone colour options.

The 110 cc engine remains the same, producing 6 bhp of power and 8 Nm of torque, putting the power on the road via a CVT.

Prices for the new Dio are expected to remain unchanged, but we are yet to receive confirmation from the company. The “moto-scooter” would be available in dealerships by the end of March 2015.

    Honda has lost all the advantage that they had on Indian scooter manufacturers in just
    couple of years. Indian scooter manufacturers have taken on the design edge and now are far better in design and innovation. If this trend continues Honda scooters will be the next Bajaj Chetaks. Big problem is their dependency on the 800 pound Japanese gorilla that is unable to move swiftly. Until they bring all of their scooter development and R&D to India, they will be peddling outdated products with different plastic claddings and colorings!

    Instead of all these jink jaks they could have inserted digital meter console, disk brakes and telescopic suspensions.

    Congrats Honda. You have made Dio even uglier.
    Honda should rather have followed Yamaha’s way of transforming Ray.
