Will launch in Brazil next year.
Nissan will showcase the Kicks mini SUV once again at a festival in Brazil. Set to be revealed at the Rio de Janeiro carnival, the Kicks will be shown in a new livery, report local media outlets.
The Kicks concept was first showcased at the Sao Paulo Motor Show of 2014, with production expected to start next year at Nissan's Resende plant. According to sources, a compact SUV based on the Kicks will be introduced in India as well, as the Japanese car maker needs to strengthen its portfolio to achieve its target of 8 percent market share.
Measuring 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall, the Kicks concept is designed by Nissan Design America (NDA) in San Diego, United States, and Nissan Design America Rio (NDA-R). The concept at the Sao Paulo show rode on 19-inch wheels and featured a contrast roof color.
