Kawasaki has recently launched the 30th Anniversary Edition of its 2015 ZX-10R in India. The special edition commemorates 30 years since the Ninja brand was first introduced with the Kawasaki GPZ900R.
The special edition motorcycle comes in Lime Green and Pearl Stardust colour and sports the 30 Anniversary Edition badges on both sides of the fairing along with a Japanese flag. It will be available for an additional price of Rs 20,000 over the standard version.
Apart from the cosmetics, the engine and other cycle parts remain the same as the standard bike. The Kawasaki ZX-10R sports a 998 cc in-line, four cylinder engine that produces 197 hp and 112 Nm of torque. To deliver the power, the engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
In recent years, the Kawasaki ZX-10R has enjoyed quite a bit of limelight around the racing world with Tom Sykes winning his first World Superbike Championship title onboard the ZX-10R.
