Would carry over its engine from the Gixxer.
A fully-faired version of the Suzuki Gixxer was caught testing recently. The motorcycle spotted shared many elements such as the fuel tank, tailpiece, exhaust, wheels and brakes with the Suzuki Gixxer while housing a shield-shaped headlamp that has recently become a signature of the Suzuki sport bikes range.
Now our colleagues over at Motoblast who couldn't wait any longer have created an almost realistic rendering for the upcoming bike, supposed to be dubbed the Suzuki GSX-R 150. The full-fairing makes the bike look very similar to its larger cousins, the Suzuki GSX-R 750 and the GSX-R 1000 while internally it would be powered by the same 154.9 cc engine that powers the Gixxer.
The Suzuki GSX-R 150 would be priced higher than the Gixxer, roughly around the INR 90,000 price range and would compete with other fully-faired motorcycles such as the Honda CBR150R and the semi-faired Yamaha Fazer FI V2.0. The specifications of the engine would be retained at 14.8 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque while the 5-speed gearbox would also remain the same.
