Bookings open for it.
Motomiu Katunga Uno, a Harley Davidson Street 750 based custom cruiser, has been showcased for the first time in India.
The tastefully built Katunga Uno is not dramatically different from the stock motorcycle. The headlamp fairing has been eliminated and the headlamp itself is detailed with LED elements.
The Street 750’s relaxed riding posture has been replaced by a cafe racer style lean-forward stance, thanks to the wider and lower clip-on handlebars as well as custom gear shifter. The motorcycle on display was finished in a dual-tone olive green and black.
Motomiu has replaced the pillion seat with an aerodynamic cowl, the front mudguard has been eliminated and the front alloy wheel adopts a different pattern. The single silencer canister of the stock model gives way for vertically stacked twin pipes with tapered tips.
The Katunga Uno employs several CNC machined components. The telescopic front fork of the Street 750 has been replaced by an upside-down unit and the 17-inch front wheels make way for a 19-incher. Other noteworthy components include an underseat brake reservoir, steel brake lines, adjustable levers and higher profile rear rubber.
The rest continue unaltered. The 749 cc Liquid-cooled, Revolution X, V-Twin motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox to produce 59 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
The Katunga Uno is on sale now and the pricing depends on the level of customization opted for. The Mumbai-based custom motorcycle builder has also customized other Harley Davidson cruisers including the Street Boy Special.
