HMIL bags ICOTY two years in a row.
Hyundai India has bagged the Indian Car of the Year 2015 (ICOTY) award for Elite i20, which the company say has received 60,000 bookings, thus becoming the choice of 32,000 families within four months of its launch.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) is now the only car maker to have been awarded the ICOTY two successive times, and three times in 10 years. Last year saw the Grand i10 win the ICOTY. BS Seo, MD & CEO, HMIL said the company was overwhelmed to bag the coveted automotive award.
The second generation i20 is priced between INR 4.99 lakhs to INR 6.56 lakhs for the petrol variant, and between INR 6.09 lakhs to INR 7.66 lakhs for the diesel variant, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. The petrol variant is powered by the 1.2-liter Kappa engine while the diesel gets a 1.4-liter CRDi engine.

Early next year, HMIL will launch a crossover based on the Elite i20, which gets features like projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, roof rails and new alloy wheels.
