Senior level promotions in the German truck maker's Asian business.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Private Ltd, (DICV) and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), partner under the Umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA), announced management changes to take effect in March and April 2015.
Dr. Albert Kirchmann, at present, heading Daimler Trucks Asia, will take a new role of Chairman of Daimler Trucks Asia as of April 1, 2015. He will consult and support the company’s strategic development and will continue to represent Daimler on the political level as well as in industry associations in Japan.
Marc Llistosella, now heading Marketing, Sales & After sales, Daimler Trucks Asia & Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), is taking up a new role of heading Daimler Trucks Asia (Fuso and BharatBenz) on April 1, 2015. His successor at DICV Erich Nesselhauf remains CEO and MD of DICV and continues to report directly to Marc Llistosella also in the new role, a company statement said.
Michael Kamper, currently Managing Director Trucks at Mercedes-Benz UK, will become new Head of Marketing, Sales and Customer Services for Daimler Trucks Asia as of March 1, 2015. In the company since 1995, Kamper has proven his expertise in truck business in various leading positions in international sales and customer experience, the statement read.

These changes have been decided by the Board of Management, Daimler AG, and are subject to approval by the Board of Directors and the Shareholder’s Meeting of MFTBC.
