i8-like keyfob, Wi-Fi, a B&W Audio System, and a touchscreen-based iDrive system, to name a few.
The next generation version of the BMW 7 series (codenamed G11/G12) will have a long list of equipment, a report has revealed. Being the flagship car, it's expected to feature a lot of high tech gizmos, and it appears that BMW isn't going to miss the opportunity.
The car is at least a year away, but BMWBlog has revealed what could possibly be the list of new features on the 2016 BMW 7 series. To start with, it will get a key fob like the one on the i8 hybrid sports car, a Bower & Wilkins high-end audio system, and as mentioned in an earlier report, a touchscreen and gesture based iDrive system.
The expected feature list continues with wireless charging for phones, Wi-Fi hotspot, and rear seats complete with massage and memory features like the ones on the front. On the outside, the car could use standard full LED headlamps or optional laser lights, which debuted on the i8.
An added "Active Comfort Drive" option is said to be added to the drive modes, selective headlight beam will be standard, while an extensive parking assist could also be made available. The latter lets the user park his car from the above mentioned key fob.
