The Mercedes GLK 300 4MATIC Prime Edition and the G Class Rock Edition have been unveiled at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show. The special editions feature exclusive visual elements.
Mercedes GLK Prime Edition
The GLK 300 4MATIC Prime Edition is based on the top-end Luxury trim which features a black roof, special 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels and side scuff plates. There are also 'Prime Edition' badges on front fenders.
The GLK 300 4MATIC is powered by a 3.0-litre petrol motor which is capable of 231 PS (227.7 bhp) and 300 Nm of torque. The power is dispatched to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Mercedes G 500 Rock Edition
The G 500 Rock Edition sports numerous visual customizations such as a white exterior color with a contrasting black roof, wheel arches, bumpers, ORVM housings and alloy wheels.
The dashboard receives a black leather upholstery with red contrast stitching while the seats are wrapped in black and white dual-tone leather. A standout infotainment display and drilled pedals are other noteworthy features.
The G 500 derives its power from a 5.5-litre V8 petrol motor that is tuned to dish out 388 PS (382.5 bhp) and 530 Nm of torque. The transmission is a 7-speed automatic unit which powers all the wheels.
