The Honda Gold Wing GL1800 has been launched in India to mark the iconic tourer's 40th anniversary. The mighty two-wheeler starts at a whopping price of INR 28.50 lakhs (40th Anniversary Audio Comfort variant) while the range-topping Airbag variant would set you back by INR 31.50 lakhs (both are ex-showroom New Delhi).
The motorcycle is powered by a potent 1,832 cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine whose power and torque figures are not mentioned in the specification sheet. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox with an overdrive for effortless cruising.
The 2015 Gold Wing's body panels have been revised to make it more aerodynamic. The imposing motorcycle gets comfortable seats and the top-end variant is richly equipped with five-position heated grips, independently adjustable heated seats and foot-warming system, 6-speaker 80W SRS surround-sound system, ABS, and a fully integrated airbag. It also features an electronic cruise control system and a slow speed electric reverse.

To market the motorcycle's 40th birthday, the 40th Anniversary Edition Gold Wing - Audio Comfort comes with dual-tone Candy Prominence Red paint job. The Airbag variant is available in the Pearl Glare White color.
