Gets permanent four-wheel drive and all-road body equipment.
The recently launched Seat Leon X-perience received its auto show debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show today.
The Seat Leon X-Perience which completes the nameplate's lineup is essentially a Leon ST estate with a rough road package. The design stays true to the station wagon but the X-Perience has a rugged look from the lower body plastic cladding and silver skid-plates on the front and rear bumpers. The suspension is also raised by 15 mm.
The interior design is identical to that of the Leon ST but a grey and black color theme is adopted instead of ST's beige and black. The seats can be specified with optional brown Alcantara or an all-black leather upholstery. There are also X-Perience branded door sills.
The Seat Leon X-Perience is powered by a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine which is available in two states of tune - 150 PS (147.9 bhp) and 184 PS (181.4 bhp). The less powerful version is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission while the range topping variant gets a 6-speed DSG. A permanent four-wheel drive system and start/stop system are standard irrespective of the state of tune.
The estate comes equipped with electronic differential locks on both the axles and ESP. Optional extras include full-LED headlights, drowsiness detection, Adaptive Cruise Control with City Emergency Brake function and lane-keeping assistance.
