Popular B-Segment hatchback was given minor cosmetic and feature changes last year in Europe.
The Maruti Swift facelift, which is expected in the market this year is on view at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in the three-door configuration. The Swift facelift is a year old as it was launched in Europe around this time last year.
Exterior changes come in the form of LED daytime running lamps, marginally bigger foglamp enclosures, and new alloy wheels. Save for these changes, the Swift's looks haven't been altered, which is now a tried-and-tested formula.
In India, we expect the Swift to get additional equipment such as power-folding outside mirrors, keyless entry, push-button start, in addition to the already present dual airbags, ABS, EBD, climate control and a 2-DIN music system.
No mechanical changes are in the running for existing variants, and the Swift should continue with the fuel efficient 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel engine.
