Skoda has released more details and images of its volume spinner, the 2015 Skoda Fabia.
The third gen premium hatchback will be available in three trim levels - S, SE and Elegance - in hatchback and Combi (station wagon) body styles. In total, 18 variants are on offer.
The Fabia is powered by a lineup of four petrol and three diesel engines. Power outputs of the petrol motors are between 60 PS (59.15 bhp) to 110 PS (108.45 bhp) while the diesel engines are available with outputs varying from 75 PS (73.94 bhp) to 105 PS (103.52 bhp). Both manual and DSG automatic transmissions are on offer along with standard start/stop and brake energy recovery systems.
The new engine family is claimed to be up to 17% more fuel efficient than its previous generation. The GreenLine diesel version coming next year is claimed to deliver the range-leading 32.25 km/l mileage while the CO2 emission stands at just 82 g/km.
The entry-level S trim comes equipped with 6 airbags, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth, electric front windows, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, ABS, MSR, ASR, EDS, HBA, height-adjustable driver seat, storage compartment under the front seats, tyre pressure monitoring system and remote central locking.
