First major design change for B Class since its launch.
The 2015 Mercedes B Class (facelift) world premiered at the 2014 Paris Motor Show today. The facelift brings to the 'Sports Tourer' cosmetic and minor mechanical changes.
At the front, the B Class gets redesigned headlights, a sportier looking bumper with larger airdams, a redesigned grille and the option of LED lighting. The rear sees minor changes come in the form of LED taillights and a mildly redesigned bumper. New alloy wheel patterns complete the exterior round of changes in the car.
Inside, the B Class gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting with a choice of 12 colors and a larger 8-inch infotainment system.
Under the hood, the MFA-based compact Merc will be seen with four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines in Europe. Mercedes offers four options each for both fuel variants. What is new though is the introduction of the brand's 4MATIC all wheel drive system in the car for the first time. A total of four variants (two each in petrol and diesel) can be optionally specced with AWD.
The refreshed B Class is expected in India next year, preferably in the first half.
