Gets new fascias and updated infotainment system.
The 2015 Kia Venga, the refreshed version of the 5-door mini MPV which is designed, developed and manufactured exclusively for the old continent, has been unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show alongside the all-new Kia Sorento.
The update comes nearly five years after the vehicle's launch. The facelifted Venga can be identified by the prominent 'tiger shark' grille, new headlamps and revised bumpers with LED daytime running lights. While the car retains its silhouette, the alloy wheels adopt a new pattern. The rear fascia has been reworked to include new combination lights with LED detailing and a reprofiled bumper.
The interior continues largely untouched save for the a new 7-inch infotainment display and AC control panel on the centre console. The refreshed car also offers new interior trim options.
The existing powertrain lineup which includes 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines has been retained. The 1.4-litre units are equipped with a 5-speed MT while the 1.6-litre units are mated to a 6-speed MT. The 1.6-litre petrol motor can also be opted with a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The power output ranges from 77 PS to 128 PS. The Euro 5 compliant powertrain comes with Start/Stop technology as a standard fitment.
