Unlike the previous iterations, the third gen Sorento doesn’t borrow its design language from its cousin Hyundai Santa Fe and gets a standalone design theme.

The signature ‘tiger nose’ grille with diamond pin detailing is the centre point of the new crossover’s design. The exterior styling was done by Kia’s Namyang design centre in Korea.

The overall design is contemporaneity yet a little conservative. The new Sorento measures 4,780 mm in length (90 mm longer), 1,685 mm in height (15 mm shorter) and 2,780 mm in wheelbase (80 mm longer) while the width remains unchanged at 1,885 mm.
