The Endeavour is expected to get a F-150 inspired cabin.

Philippines's AutoIndustriya has been told by sources within Ford's global development team that the new 2015 Endeavour (2015 Everest for other markets) would be revealed on November 14, 2014.

The new Endeavour is expected to feature a better ride quality thanks to coil springs at the rear.

So far, Ford has presented a near production ready version with the Everest concept, which was first showcased in Sydney, Australia, last year followed by an Asian premiere at the Bangkok Motor Show this year.

The new Endeavour, like the current generation model, will be based on the Ranger's ladder-frame chassis. The report says that the new SUV will come with a coil-sprung rear suspension, which would be an improvement over the current model's leaf springs.

The publication reports there will be two engine options initially, a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel and a 3.2-liter inline-5 cylinder diesel engine. For the Indian market though, the new Fortuner rival could carry over the 2.5- and 3.0-liter diesel engines from the outgoing model. The transmissions could be upgraded to 6-speed units from the current 5-speed ones.

The SUV could be powered by the same 2.5L and 3L diesel engines in India.

Inside, the 2015 Endeavour is reported to get a hi-tech cabin inspired by the F-150, with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Ford's SYNC2 multimedia setup.

Expect the new Endeavour to launch in India next year. Like the current model, Ford India would assemble the SUV from Thai-made CKD kits, at its Chennai plant.
