The closed-course superbike produces roughly 300 PS!

The insane Kawasaki Ninja H2R, a closed-course (read track only) superbike concept, has made its world debut at the INTERMOT 2014.

The Japanese motorcycle maker says that the objective was to create a concept which offers “the kind of acceleration that no rider had experienced before”. Backing up this strong statement is a 998 cc in-line four-cylinder supercharged engine which has a target output of 300 PS!

The automaker claims that the incredibly powerful concept was benefited by the inputs from member companies of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group (KHI). KHI has helped the two-wheeler wing develop the supercharger and hone the super Ninja’s aerodynamics.

The trellis frame is designed with the help of modern analysis technologies to offer required feedback and stability at ultra high-speed range, says Kawasaki.

Coming to the design which follows the “Intense Force Design” theme, the Ninja H2R looks as intimidating as its power output suggests.

The cabon fibre fairing is made up of razor sharp elements which are there to provide front end downforce. The ram air duct is positioned in such a way to maximize airflow into the supercharger. A futuristic fully digital instrument panel is minimalistic and easily readable.

In profile, the chiseled looks are further enhanced by the hanging silencer and exposed members of the trellis frame which are finished in the trademark Ninja green. The rear fascia is as sharp as rest of the vehicle.
