Syakar Trading Company, the authorized distributors of Honda cars in Nepal, launched the Mobilio today at the 2014 Nepal Auto Show (NADA 2014). The Mobilio's announced only with a petrol engine, though the sportier RS trim will also be on offer.
The Ertiga rival is priced starting from NPR 30.7 lakhs (INR 18.53 lakhs) while the RS grade costs NPR 44 lakhs (INR 27.19 lakhs). Powering the petrol Mobilio is the 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC engine which produces 119 PS (117.32 bhp) and 145 Nm of torque. It is claimed to deliver 17.3 km/l by the ARAI. A 5-speed manual gearbox is on offer.
The MPV measures 4,386 mm in length, 1,683 mm in width and 1,603 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,652 mm. Adding more visual flair is the RS grade which comes with projector headlights and LED daytime running lights, sportier bumpers, a rear spoiler, different alloy wheels, a side skirt and a twin-slat chrome grille.
