Gets minor ergonomic tweaks and enhanced equipment list.

The 2015 Moto Guzzi V7 classic retro sportsbike that is compliant with the European A2 license norms has been unveiled at the INTERMOT 2014 in Cologne, Germany.

The updated classic motorcycle has its transversely-mounted V-twin engine tilted forward by 4° and lowered by 10° in order to increase the leg room for the rider. Further ergonomic improvements come in the form of lowered seat and foot peg (by 25 mm) height.

Coming to the powertrain, the 90° V-twin 744 cc liquid-cooled engine belts out 50 PS and 58 Nm of torque. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a clutch with revised actuation.

The bike is 2,184 mm long, 800 mm wide, 1,113 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 1,449 mm. Conventional telescopic fork (front) and twin shock absorbers (rear) suspend the V7 while the braking power is provided by a Brembo system which comprises a disc at each end.

The existing variant lineup which includes V7 II Stone (available in four matte colors), V7 II Special (available in three colors) and V7 II Racer (available with the a chrome finished fuel tank) have been retained.

The 2015 Moto Guzzi V7 also comes equipped with a 2-channel ABS and Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione (MGCT) traction control system.
