IAB Report - Toyota Etios Liva launched in Nepal at INR 20.9 lakhs

India-made hatchback launched with the 1.2-liter petrol engine.

United Traders Syndicate, the authorized distributor of Toyota in Nepal, launched the Etios Liva at a price of 33.45 lakhs NPR (INR 20.9 lakhs).

The Liva in Nepal is available only with the 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine which produces 80 PS (78.87 bhp) at 5,600 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 3,100 rpm matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. The fuel efficiency is rated at 17.71 km/l under ARAI tests.

Needless to say, the Liva in Nepal is shipped from Toyota Kirloskar Motor's (TKM) Bidadi plant in Karnataka. In Nepal, it competes with the likes of the VW Polo, Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Swift.

Like the Indian model, the Liva measures 3,775 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,510 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,460 mm. The car has a 251 liter boot and a 45 liter fuel tank, with a turning radius of 4.8 m.

Available in its top-end 'V' grade, the Liva comes with foglights, body-colored bumpers and door handles, alloy wheels and a rear wiper and washer. Inside, the car gets a multi-function steering wheel, front and rear power windows, ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, 2-DIN music system with CD/MP3/AUX-in and fabric seats.
