The 2015 VW Jetta had its Russian premiere today at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show (Moscow International Auto Salon 2014). The refreshed sedan was first shown earlier this year at the New York Auto Show.
The front fascia of the Jetta now comes with a triple-slat chrome grille and a tweaked bumper with new foglight enclosures. The headlights, which get integrated LED daytime running lights, are carried over from the pre-facelift model. New LED taillight elements and a revised rear bumper along with new alloy wheel patterns complete the changes on the outside.
Inside, the car gets the new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel which is seen on the new Polo in India. This along with a new music system with piano-black surrounds are the highlights.
Mechanically, the Jetta continues unchanged, though it remains to be seen whether VW offers the revised EA288 TDI engine (2.0-liter) which was extended to the American model.
The Jetta facelift is expected to launch in India sometime later this year or early next year.
