The 2015 BMW X3 facelift which made its global debut earlier this year has been launched in India. Seen below are the trims and prices of the refreshed SUV.

The exterior changes include a reprofiled kidney grille, revised headlamps that meet the grille, bumpers, taillights, ORVMs, new alloy wheel designs and exterior color options. The X3 measures 4,657 mm in length, 1,881 mm in width, 1,678 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.
The interior of the SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) has been updated with a glossy finish for the centre console in addition to new cupholders and an electronic opening function for the tailgate. The new X3 also gets new upholstery options.
As far as the powertrain options are concerned, BMW India has discontinued the X3 xDrive 30d which was powered by a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel engine producing 258 PS. The refreshed model is available only with the all-aluminium 2.0-litre four-cylinder TwinPower turbo diesel engine which is capable of 190 PS (187.3 bhp) and 400 Nm of torque.
Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 2015 BMW X5 accelerates from 0-100 km in 8.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 210 km/h.

The vehicle is assembled at the company's Chennai plant out of CKD kits sourced from the Spartanburg plant in the US. The new BMW X5 was also launched this year.
