The Fiat Punto facelift which has been spotted testing numerous times, has now been spied in all its glory.
The refreshed hatchback sports a new headlamp design that was first seen in the Avventura crossover concept unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo. The revised grille gets chrome outlining and an insert while the new bumper houses a chin spoiler and chrome foglamp enclosures.
Changes to the side are limited to chrome door handles and a new alloy wheel design. The rear fascia gets newly detailed taillights. The extensive usage of chrome is seen on the rear bumper as well and it appears that there are two functional rear stoplamps in the bumper.
Inside, the dashboard design is shared with the new Linea. While the previous spyshots revealed a dual tone beige-black color theme, this particular model features a full black interior, perhaps only available in some variants.
The powertrain lineup is expected to remain the same. The petrol options include a 68 PS 1.2-litre and a 90 PS 1.4-litre engines while the diesel option is the 1.3-litre MultiJet engine which is available in 76 PS and 93 PS versions. All the engines are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Fiat Punto facelift will be launched in the coming weeks.
