VW will launch the refreshed 2014 VW Polo on July 15, with dealers across India having already commenced the pre-launch bookings for the hatchback. Seen in these images is a fleet of freshly made Polos ready for dealer dispatch in the coming weeks.
These images confirm that VW India will be offering a new Orange body color on the Polo. Apart from that, new bumpers with redesigned foglight enclosures, new mirror elements for the headlights, a new alloy wheel design and a single-slat chrome grille are the changes seen on the exterior of the 2014 Polo.
Interior changes include a new 3-spoke steering wheel, silver inserts for the center console and new fonts for the instrument cluster.
Mechanically, a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine will power the diesel and GT TDI variants of the Polo. Its expected to output 90 PS in its regular spec and 105 PS in its GT spec. However, the GT TSI and GT TDI variants aren't reported to launch until August.
