The revamped Yamaha FZ-S FI V2.0 and the Yamaha FZ FI V2.0 twins were just launched. Here is how the duo compare against the rivals in terms of specifications. The competition would come from the Honda CB Trigger, Bajaj Pulsar 150, TVS Apache RTR160 and the Hero Xtreme.

The Yamaha twins have identical specifications and interestingly the company has reduced the displacement, power and torque despite the bikes being the only models to offer FI in their class. The FZ FI V2.0 series is powered by a 149 cc air cooled fuel injected motor which puts out 13.1 PS and 12.8 Nm of torque. The TVS Apache RTR160 develops the highest power among the competition with 15.5 PS on tap and not surprisingly, it’s also the bike with highest torque (13.1 Nm) in the segment.
