The Nissan Sunny facelift will launch in India early next month. We've updated our readers about the exterior and interior changes to the sedan in our previous stories, and in this story, we focus on the variants, features and specifications of the car.
The Sunny facelift will come with a 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine. The petrol engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual or CVT, and has its specifications unchanged. The diesel engine sees an increase in efficiency from 21.64 km/l to 22.71 km/l thanks to ECU retune.
Coming to the variants, the Sunny facelift will be offered in a total of 8 variants. The petrol range comprises of the XE, XL and XL CVT, while the diesel model starts with the XE, XL, XV, XV Premium Pack 1 and XV Premium Pack 2. All variants will feature driver airbag, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, central locking and tilt-adjustable steering as standard.
From the XL variant onwards, the Sunny gets body-colored wing mirrors, full wheel covers, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, 2-DIN audio with USB and Aux with four speakers, piano black center console, rear power windows, automatic AC, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors and steering mounted controls.
The top-end XV comes loaded with a front passenger airbag, foglights, rear AC vents, rear view camera, keyless entry with engine starter button and alloy wheels. In addition to this, the XV Premium Pack 1 adds the option of leather seats but no side airbags, while Pack 2 comes with side airbags but with fabric seats.
