The 2016 Ford Endeavour (Ford Everest) was caught on test in China recently. For the first time, spies have managed to snap the interiors of the SUV. The production ready interiors on the new Endeavour are vastly different from the current model, which now looks a bit dated given that it was introduced back in 2006.

The interiors of the 2016 Ford Endeavour are vastly different from the current generation model.

A chunky four-spoke steering wheel is seen alongside a neatly arranged center console which seems to feature controls for the music system and air-conditioning of the car. The center tunnel shows an automatic gearbox, a cubby hole and cup holders. Towards the farther end, the new Endeavour sports vertically-shaped AC vents and a beige trim for the door insert.

The exteriors of the new Endeavour are expected to resemble the Ford Everest Concept, which was described as a near production ready vehicle itself by a Ford insider. Engine options are expected to be carried over from the current generation model, which is offered with 2.5- and 3.0-liter diesel engines in India.

The Everest Concept was described as being near production ready.

The new Endeavour would have its debut next year at one of the Asian motor shows, and an Indian launch is expected sometime in the second half of 2015. The new Endeavour in India, like the current model, will be assembled from CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits shipped out of Thailand. The assembly will take place at Ford India’s Chennai plant.

  1. Sunny says:

Looks awesome & tough , feels like will be priced premium over Fortuner ( which is also due an upgrade by 2015)

On the exteriors it can so be compared to the PRADO ( only on the looks not on the specs)

Will be worth to put a buck on the FORD ENDEAVOUR / EVEREST, provided they increase the locaisation of parts instead of getting as CKD from Thailand which happens in the current generation Endeavour

Ford seems to be finally stepping on the pedal , but just hope there service station cope ups to it
