Land Rover has updated the Discovery for the 2015 model year with a slew of minor improvements. The 2015 Land Rover Discovery gets several optional equipments derived from the Discovery XXV special edition launched earlier this year to mark the 25th anniversary of the nameplate.
Visual enhancements in the updated Discovery include optional 20-inch 5-spoke XXV alloy wheels and three new exterior color options namely Aruba, Kaikoura Stone and Montalcino Red. A white shade called Yulong will be added at a later stage.

As far as the interior is concerned, customers can now specify their Discovery with Ebony/Cirrus Dual-tone Windsor Leather seats that were first offered in the XXV edition. You can also choose between two different wooden inserts for the leather wrapped steering wheel - Grand Black Lacquer and Grained Walnut - with optional matching wooden veneer trims on the dashboard.
The 2015 range comes equipped with a standard InControl App which can run certain smartphone apps on the vehicle's multimedia infotainment display.
Engine options include one petrol and two diesel 3.0-litre V6 units paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The supercharged petrol motor develops 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque, the TDV6 diesel puts out 211 PS and 520 Nm of torque, and the top end SDV6 diesel is good for 256 PS and 600 Nm of torque.
