The bike now comes in new colours that include black, blue, grey and red. Apart from the colour upgrades, the bike has black 5-spoke alloy wheels as standard. Taking new features from its siblings, the Super Splendor will get the same side stand warning indicator as the seen on the Splendor i-Smart.

As far as its mechanics are concerned, the Super Splendor retains the same four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled 124.7 cc engine making 9 hp at 7,000 rpm and 9.8 Nm of torque. It is mated to a four-speed gearbox.

Disc brakes have been done away with due to low demand.

Interestingly, Hero Motocorp doesn't offer the Super Splendor with a disc brake anymore due to low demand. The bike's front end gets a 130 mm drum brake, just like the rear end. The new Hero Super Splendor is priced at Rs 51,250 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
