Hyundai India have officially launched the Hyundai Eon 1.0-liter variant today. The Eon 1.0-liter is priced at INR 3.83 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
Power for the Eon 1L comes from a three-cylinder 1.0-liter engine with Hyundai's Dual VTVT technology. The engine outputs 69 PS of power at 6,200 rpm and 9.6 kgm of torque at 3,500 rpm and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The ARAI rated efficiency of the Eon 1L is 20.3 km/l (while that of the regular Eon stands at 21.1 km/l).
The Eon 1L will be available only in a single Magna Plus trim. While features such as AC, power steering and front power windows are seen, the Eon 1L loses out on an airbag, music system and internally adjustable wing mirrors. On the outside, the Eon 1L can be identified thanks to the "1.0" badge on the bootlid, the "Kappa" badge on the front driver-side fender and a "K 1.0" badge on the engine cover.
The Eon 1L is already on display at many Hyundai dealerships, and deliveries are expected to commence today.
