Tata does not plant to stop there. Philippines-based Pilipinas TAJ Autogroup, which is Tata's distributor in that area, will have 10 models available by the end of this year. The distributor's general manager, Nicandro Mariano, who is quoted by BWorld online, adds that two showrooms were up and running, while a further six to seven will be added by the end of this year.

Tata could consider launching the Safari Storme, DICOR and Aria in this market, while the Bolt and Zest could soon follow once they are launched in India. For now, Philippines will not get the Tata Nano, as Tata does not make the small car in left hand drive configuration.

Prior to its Philippines entry, Tata showcased the Vista, Manza, Aria, Indica and Indigo at the Algeria Motor Show announcing that sales would soon commence.
