The 2015 Dodge Charger made its debut at the New York Auto Show yesterday. The four-door muscle car gets a list of both interior and exterior upgrades.
In terms of engines, the Dodge Charger SE and SXT rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) models are powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, which delivers 292 horsepower at 6,350 rpm and 353 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm.
The muscle car in its R/T variant is fitted with the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with 370 hp and 536 Nm of torque that now combines the engine’s four-cylinder mode Fuel Saver Technology with three additional gears from the new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
Outside, the Charger gets new hood, fenders, front and rear fascias, 3-piece spoiler, LED racetrack taillights apart from other minor additions. On the inside, the car sees a 7-inch TFT customizable digital cluster, instrument panel center stack with next-generation radio and 5.0-inch and 8.4-inch touchscreen displays with 3-D navigation and downloadable apps, performance-inspired electronic shifter and others.
