Toyota announced its next two launches, and possibly the only major product actions this year, at the Auto Expo last month. The company had showcased the Etios Cross and the new Corolla, announcing their sales commencement in May. The Corolla is an all-new product which was introduced globally last year, while the Etios Cross is a variant of the Liva that adds a bit of ruggedness to the exterior.

TKM has a production capacity of 3.1 lakh units from its two plants situated in Bidadi, Karnataka. Besides, social activities like the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) were launched to train minds to work on its cars, says the company.

Going forward, Toyota says it will focus on new markets for a sustainable dealer network.
