It seems Bajaj will take the Discover series upmarket with the launch of this Discover F150. The Discover F150 will be the flagship of the Discover family and will be powered by a 150 cc engine.
Overdrive reports that the F150 will get a single-cylinder, four-valve DTS-i 150 cc engine producing power in the whereabouts of 14 PS. The motorcycle though, will be pitched as a commuter model and will be positioned below the Pulsar 150.
Design wise, the F150 gets a quarter fairing to the likes of the Honda Stunner. We see black, web-spoked alloy wheels, a front disc brake and a glossy finish for the exhaust. The F150 is reported to share several components with the Discover 125 ST. The commuter bike will also feature an electric start apart from the standard kick start.
Overdrive says that the launch of the F150 will take place during the festive season of this year, and price wise, the Bajaj is expected to be a few thousand rupees more than the Honda Stunner. A naked version of this F150 is also in the pipeline, claims the magazine. Given that Bajaj had discontinued the Discover 135 and 150, it gives some room for the brand to launch the F150.
