Land Rover has announced a few updates to the Freelander 2 to increase the luxury quotient of the SUV. New trims - HSE Luxury and XS - are announced for the 2015 Freelander 2 and here's a look as to what they are.
The HSE Luxury trim adds exterior features such as body-colored sills, door handles and mirror caps and a bright Atlas-colored finish to the grille and vents. A metal ingot-style HSE Luxury badge on the rear and 19-inch "Sparkle Silver" wheels complete the exterior round of changes. Inside, this variant gets 8/6-way adjustable leather electric seats and a "Grand Black" lacquer finish to the door handles and steering wheel.
The XS spec receives features such as "Dark Atlas" grille bars and side vents, 17-inch Anthracite alloy wheels, foglamps, body-colored sills, door handles and mirror caps. Inside, the Freelander XS gets partial leather and Dinamica seats with electric 6/4-way adjustment, front and rear armrests and power lumbar support for the driver.
Optionally, customers can also add an upgrade pack to the XS which brings features such as a 380W Meridian audio system with 11 speakers, Bluetooth phone connection, navigation system, rain sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.
All 2015 Freelanders get revised headlight clusters and rear parking sensors are offered as standard.
