Suzuki today showcased the V Strom 1000, Inazuma, Gixxer and Let's at the ongoing Auto Expo 2014.
The V Strom 1000 gets a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 90 degree V-Twin engine mated to a six-speed constant mesh gearbox. It gets an inverted telescopic suspension coil spring setup at the front and link type coil spring setup at the rear. Stopping power comes from twin discs and the front and a single disc at the rear, aided with ABS.
The V Strom 1000 shares its platform with the global V Strom 650 model. It is powered by a V-Twin engine that is mounted on an aluminium chassis. The V Strom 1000 has a curb weight of 228 kg and a 20 liter fuel tank.
Apart from unveiling the V Strom 1000, Suzuki also displayed the recently launched Inazuma, Let's and Gixxer.
The Let's scooter features the SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology which boasts top-class fuel efficiency without compromising on power and performance. The Let's promises a mileage of 63 kmpl.
The Gixxer 155 cc motorcycle's engine and frame was developed by the same engineers who developed the legendary GSX-R series.
The Inazuma is a 250 cc naked street bike that was launched last month.
