Renault showcased their international models, the Renault Megane hatchback and the Renault ZOE electric car at the 2014 Auto Expo.
Renault ZOE
Renault displayed its electric-only ZOE to demonstrate Renault's capabilities to build an all-electric city car. The ZOE is not available for sale in India, and the lack of subsidies or infrastructure for EVs could mean that it may not launch here in the foreseeable future.
The Renault ZOE is the company's first electric-only car. It was launched in the market in December of 2012 and as of last week, had sold around 10,000 units.
The Renault ZOE gets a single motor, driving the front wheels, that produces 88 hp and 220 Nm of torque, giving it a real-world range of around 145 km. Thanks to its 290 kg array of batteries, the ZOE tips the scales at 1,468 kg, quite heavy for a car of its size. The ZOE takes 9 hours to charge up its batteries.
Renault recently upgraded the ZOE with regenerative brakes, heat pump and Michelin Energy E-V tyres.

The Megane R.S sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that gives out 265 hp and generates peak torque of 360 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
