At the Auto Expo 2014, Renault unleashed a slew of models including the KWID concept.
There were also a number of facelifts including the Fluence facelift, which was launched at Rs 14.22 lakh for the E2 version and Rs 15.81 lakh for the E4 version (Both prices Ex-showroom, New Delhi.)
The Renault Fluence facelift gets the new grille that nods to Renault's global design language. The foglamp cluster gets daytime running lights and the car gets new R16 Kaleido alloy wheels. On the inside, there's a dual tone upper dashboard with soft touch finish.
Even though both the E2 and the E4 variants get the daytime running lights, only the top-end E4 gets "Fog lamp housing with glossy black finish." The E4 also gets an optional exterior rear chrome lock package and an interior chrome lock package comes as standard.
The E4 also gets rain sensing front wipers while electric defrosting is standard in both variants.
The E4 gets rear sunblinds, driver seat lumbar support, leather upholstery, 4 tweeters, 3D surround sounds by Arkamys, front parking assist, ElectroChrome rear view mirror, odour filter, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs with temperature sensor and rear aircon as standard.
Both variants are powered by the same 1,461 cc K9K diesel engine that puts out 110 PS @ 4,000 RPM and 240 Nm @ 1,850 RPM, pairing to a 6-speed manual transmission.
