Mahindra Two-Wheelers had two interesting concept bikes at the Auto Expo, both of which are built by individual customizers using the Centuro's platform.
Mahindra Cafe Racer
Built by Mumbai's JCMOTO, the Cafe Racer uses parts made of aluminium and glass fiber, hence shedding 20 kg of weight. Mahindra says that parts which did not contribute to the "running and acceleration" of the bike, were done away with. Seen on the Cafe Racer is a custom made fuel tank, glass fiber seat hump, aluminium wheel rims, free flow air filer and exhaust and a front disc brake.
Mahindra Scrambler
Hand built by Bombay Custom Works, the Scrambler is designed for a go-anywhere appeal with its 3 inches of increased ground clearance and a raised exhaust. It gets dirt-spec off-road tires, leather and brass accents, a wide handlebar with a brace and a shortened frame.
Mahindra informs Indian Autos Blog that in the future, custom packages would be offered on the Centuro in partnership with custom motorcycle makers.
