Interior shots of MSIL's upcoming hatchback which will be launched at the 2014 Auto Expo, the Maruti Celerio, have been spied by our friends at Motorbeam.com. The interior gets two tone upholstery in the usual beige and grey combination.

The A:Wind Concept had a multimedia touch-screen, a mirror adjustment knob near the power window switches and leather trimmed steering & gear shifter that have not made it to the Celerio.

The instrument cluster behind the old three-spoke steering wheel gets a large centre dial as a speedometer bang in the centre, with a tachometer to the left and what looks like a small digital display to the right. The centre console in this spied version gets power windows and a gear stick, which - thanks to the Celerio's automated manual gearbox - can be used either in automatic or manual mode.

Rear seats look like they are built only for two people. No height adjustment for the headrests here.

The spied Celerio appears to be the top-of-the-line variant as it gets a neat Kenwood 2 DIN audio system, which is an aftermarket fitment that comes with USB and AUX facilities, along with a CD player. There are also black carpets with red and white accents.

The rear also gets two-tone seats and what looks like ample knee room for a B1 segment car. The rear seats seem to be made only for two occupants, as there's no lap belt for a third passenger in the center.

The Celerio is derived from Suzuki's A:Wind concept and will replace the A-Star in India and the Alto in the international markets. It would come with a 1L K Series petrol engine used on the Alto K10, A-Star and Wagon R.
