I am waiting for the day when auto journalists stop calling “mechanical” dashboards analogue. I am also waiting for the day when digital dashboards that show a needle instead of numbers scrambling will not be called analogue. Digital is a form of circuitry and it cannot get identified as an analogue just because the use interface features a needle and numbers like a conventional dashboard.
