Our good friends at Overdrive have published two spyshots of the Chevrolet Beat facelift testing in Pune. General Motors (unconfirmed) have planned the launch of the Beat facelift at the Auto Expo. If not, expect it to be showcased there without an explanation.
Changes on the new Beat are reserved to a handful of cosmetic changes. Changes include an updated front bumper, a softly revised grille and restyled foglamps. The wheels are new and a different rear spoiler is integrated to the car.
Interior changes are nothing to write home about with the car getting a new center console with added storage volume and a new trim. The rear bench gets an additional central headrest in the Indian version.
The mechanical carriage of the Beat is not going to offer anything new or extra. The 1.2-litre petrol, a 1-litre diesel as well as the LPG variant would continue.
General Motors have started testing the next generation Chevrolet Beat in Europe prior to its global debut next year. Hence this maybe the final time the Beat is revised before its departure.
