The first images of the Audi Crossover Coupe concept have leaked on the internet a couple of days ahead of its official reveal at the Detroit Auto Show.
Previewing the Audi Q1 which was announced by the company late last year for an entry in 2016, the Crossover Coupe also previews a new design language for the brand.
The car is flanked with sharp tinted headlights, horizontally arranged radiator grille slats, plastic body extensions, ski racks, roof spoiler, twin exhausts and 19-inch wheels. The model is a hybrid, surmised by the 'e-tron' badge on the body cladding and the presence of a fuel lid. The concept uses Audi's Quattro (four-wheel drive specification) system.
Focusing on the cabin, the Crossover Coupe has a digital instrument cluster, circular air vents and a typical Audi dashboard. Similar to the dashboard of the 2015 TT revealed earlier in the week, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, sporty pedals and a new MMI controller are observed on the crossover.
There are no details available on the engine ouput, dimensions or how much this vehicle would inspire the production Q1, but we should have more details in a short while either via leaks or official information.
