It was reported last week that Toyota had added top-end variants on the Etios Liva diesel. While the company's website listed the price of these variants, we did not receive a confirmation about the same.
Yesterday, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sent out a press release confirming these variants, while also carrying out a minor update on the mid-level variant.
Toyota Etios Liva VD & VD SP
The VD and VD SP (Safety Pack) are the new top-end variants on the Liva diesel. These variants were earlier available on the Liva petrol.
Feature additions come in the form of a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth, USB, Aux-in and remote control, a leather wrapped steering wheel, tilt steering function, steering-mounted audio controls, integrated turn indicators on the wing mirrors, a tachometer, a rear defogger and a rear wiper. On the VD SP, TKM will also offer ABS with EBD and dual front SRS airbags.
The VD is priced at INR 6.7 lakhs and the VD SP at INR 7.03 lakhs (ex-Showroom, Mumbai).
Toyota Etios and Liva G & GD
These variants were earlier available without a two-tone dashboard. TKM will now offer two-tone interiors and soft fabrics on these variants of the sedan and hatchback, in both petrol and diesel variants.
