On the outside, the new Mustang looks a lot like the old Mustang, but that's only until you explore individual details of the car. Designers have lowered the roof and hood of the car, while the windscreen is sloped more steeply. These highlights alone give the new Mustang a fastback-like styling.
At the time of the launch, Ford will offer the new Mustang with a choice of three engines -
The base model will be powered by a 3.7-liter V6 producing 300 bhp and 365 Nm of torque, while the top-end GT variant gets the 5.0-liter V8 producing 420 bhp and 528 Nm of torque. For the first time ever, Ford will introduce a turbo-petrol, 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that sees 305 bhp and 406 Nm of torque. Only a 6-speed gearbox available in manual and automatic options will be listed.

Ford engineers claim that this Mustang is the most nimble pony ever, and they've good reason to make that claim. Again, for the first time ever, the Mustang sees an independent rear suspension! The rear setup is joined by an all-new front perimeter subframe, and double-ball-joint MacPherson struts.
Ford haven't shared details about the brakes on the new 'Stang, only mentioning that three optional packages will be available.

Inside, Ford has endowed the muscle car with their SYNC multimedia system, MyKey keyless start and Blind Spot warning system. The company has not detailed the trim-wise features yet, and are expected to do so closer to the launch of the car. Strangely however, Ford has mentioned that the Mustang's boot can now fit two golf bags!
