The first video that explains the design and the engineering of the Ford Ka Concept is now available for public viewing.
Ehab Kaoud, the chief designer of the Ford EcoSport (the soft-spoken man took all our questions when we met him before the EcoSport launch) is also behind this product and in the video you can catch him speaking (in English) about how they managed to give the new Ka the identity of a Ford vehicle.

Raj Nair, vice president of product development at Ford, says the South American operations is an integral part of the global product development team. The rest of the video is in Portuguese, but the visuals explain how the concept was designed.
Ford has designed and engineered the vehicle in Brazil, and is the second global Ford product (after the EcoSport) to emerge from that region. We expect the Ka to be rebadged as the next gen Ford Figo in India, and launch sometime in 2015.
