Our friends at VisorDown have posted these images claiming them to be the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 375. The 375 is one among the two Pulsars that would launch by the middle of this financial year, the other being the new 200 (which is rumored to be called the 200 SuperSports).
The 375 could use the same frame as that of the 200NS, while power will come from the KTM Duke 390's engine. Which means that you can expect to see the same 373cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine producing about 43 PS and 35 Nm of torque in the 375 as well. A 6-speed gearbox will perform the transmission duties.
But, will the 375 do the 0-100 km/h run like the Duke 390 (under 7 seconds)? And can it reach the top-speed of the 390's 170 km/h?
Now, Bajaj has been testing what we think is the new 200, in and around Maharashtra. But there's no denying that these leaked images fit the test prototype quite accurately. VisorDown states in their report that the new Pulsar 200 is expected to look "identical" to the leaked 375 here.
We expect Bajaj to lift the veil (and hence clear the confusion) soon, probably at the upcoming Auto Expo scheduled in early February.
How do you like the new Pulsar 375?
