The VW Amarok Dark Label special edition is in attendance at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. As the name suggests the special edition of the pickup truck has numerous black accents on its bodywork.
Based on the Trendline trim, the Dark Label edition adopts black add-on parts such as the 18" Durban alloy wheels, door handles, ORVM housings, tinted rear side windows and rear windscreen, rear bumper and side running plates. The front scuff plate is given a contrasting silver finish while the head- and tail-lights have smoked lenses. In addition, the rear license plate enclosure is illuminated with LEDs.
The Amarok Dark Label edition is available in three exterior color options - Starlight Blue, Candy White and Deep Black (with pearl effect).
On the inside, the special edition is identified by Alcantara seats, velour floor mats with Dark Label signatures, and a new RCD 310 music system with steering mounted controls. The pickup also comes with heated front seats and heated windscreen washers.
The VW Amarok Dark Label is available only in double cab variant but it can be specified with rear wheel, permanent four wheel or switchable four wheel drive options. Power comes from a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine which is available in 140PS and 180PS tuning states. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual or a 8-speed automatic gearbox.
