The Renault Koleos facelift which made its debut at the Buenos Aires Motor Show in July is on display at the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show.
The refreshed softroader SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre dCi diesel engine that is available in two states, 150 PS and 175 PS. The engine comes paired either to a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission, and transfers drive through 2WD and 4WD layouts.
The base Zen variant (150 PS engine) is available only as a manual but offers essential equipment like ABS, ESP, 6 airbags, auto headlights, dual zone automatic climate AC, 17-inch alloy wheels and cruise control. However, it doesn't come with the 4WD option.
The mid variant is aptly named Bose as it sports a Bose surround system with seven speakers and a sub-woofer. This variant, with all features of the Zen variant, also gets 'diamond finish' alloy wheels. Both engine options are available on this variant, with the 150PS engine available only as a 2WD, and the 175PS engine offering 4WD as standard.
The top-end Initiale adds to the Zen variant, 18" diamond finish alloys, electrochromatic rear view mirrors, black leather upholstery, heated and powered seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Renault Koleos facelift starts from 29,850 euros (25.66 lakh rupees) and goes all the way up to 35,650 euros (30.65 lakh rupees). We expect it to make it to Indian shores in the foreseeable future.
